Three Months

Three!  Three months!  That's how old this baby is today.  Ridiculous.  I think she's in the middle, or on the tail end, of a growth spurt.  So she is even huger and cuter than ever.  As seen in this video, where she tries to get Dexter to read her the train book:

But yeah.  She still doesn't sit up on her own.

Grandpa brought four Lionel train catalogs down with him this week.  So we have spent A LOT of time looking at train catalogs.  Today Dex was looking at the track sets at the back of the catalog, and telling me that when he gets THIS track set he will have a street car on it and it will go around and around and around and then it will go on this side track and hit the buffer and then it will go around and around and around.  And I had to break it to him that we shall NOT be getting any of these trains at our house, but he can play with trains when he goes to visit Grandma and Grandpa.  So now he is saying that he USED to have this track set and a street car, but then someone took them.  :-)

The good thing about the train books is that he can read them.  Pretty much entirely.  So he's been doing a lot of reading this week.

Erin is not reading yet.  Give her a week or so.  But she HAS discovered these cool balls that Dex used to play with, and kind of likes them a lot.

She's typically pretty impressed with herself by her standing abilities.  Which we think is cute now, but I assume in a few months when that standing is accompanied by mobility...  we shall be pushing her little butt back on to the floor.

Three Months!
