Our boy is, at least, cute while playing with his balls.
This week's fun task at soccer - push the ball off the cone with your head, and then dribble it to the net and shoot a goal. Dexter learned this week how to run away from the net yelling "GOAL!"
Bless the tremendously patient Coach Doug. I dunno how people work with kids. Seriously, man. They are a pain in the ass. (Click above video)
Today we pulled out a new toy. Hooray for baseball!
Daddy helped hold the bat
Ball went far enough that it went out of the picture. GOAL!
Gave up on hitting the ball, now just throwing the ball really high.
Power hitter. (Click above video)
After baseball we decided the balls needed to go for a walk. And Buddy, too.
Yeah, that's right. I'm walking my balls.
Got tired after about three seconds. Fortunately Daddy was there to pull the wagon.
Cute ball rider
Nothing at all to do with balls, but I like this picture. This is from Tuesday's picnic at Lana's farm in Chesapeake City. Cute cottage on the river. Dex liked walking on the "bridge" and pulling a wagon all over the yard and through the house. He also LOVED Diane's big dog Ozzy and has decided that we need to bring Ozzy home with us. He now calls Buddy "Ozzy." Poor dog has a new name every day...
Today we went to the Mendenhall Inn for brunch for John's birthday. Dex was fascinated with the harp player, and also with the chocolate fountain. He was really good there. Thank the lord I thought to bring our little Thomas the Train track and train for him to play with while he was eating his chicken nuggets and we were housing our Eggs Maryland and amazingly delicious french toast. Made from lemon poppy seed bread. OMG YUM. We'll go back. Next time we have another coupon...
